GDC Europe 2016 Schedule

With GDC Europe Session Scheduler, you can build your schedule in advance and access it during the show via export or with the GDC Europe Mobile App. Sessions do fill up, so please arrive early to sessions that you would like to attend. Adding a session to your schedule does not guarantee you a seat.

    Matthew Steinke is Sr. Game Designer for CD PROJEKT RED's ground-breaking game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. A 15-year veteran of the commercial games industry, Matthew previously worked at Ubisoft Toronto where he directed level design for the award winning Tom Clancy's: Splinter Cell series. During his time at Midway Games he worked as a gameplay programmer on a number of of titles including Mortal Kombat, Stranglehold and PsiOps:The Mindgate Conspiracy. Heavily involved with Iowa State's world-renowned Virtual Reality Application Centre, most of his time at university was spent in a CAVE -- literally -- prototyping virtual environments. His research hobbies extend across multiple fields including virtual reality, artificial intelligence, mobile development, music and interactive design. Throughout his life, Matthew has been heavily influenced by computers, games, comics and films. Working in the games industry has allowed Matthew to fulfill his lifelong dream of creating new technology in order to make science fiction fact.
